Eating at restaurants; Fever, Purge & Pain in the stomach

It’s common in Jordan that eating at restaurants cause sickness and poisoning, after the massive poisoning incident in Rusyfah city where 762 people (I heard that the final number was 1,000) were poisoned because of a shawerma restaurant that has been closed in the past for 3 days because a group of people were poisoned, a 1,000! I was reading today in the newspaper that 16 persons in AlKurah suffered of purge due to “Unknown Reasons.”

Searching more in the news 6 people in AlMafraq were poisoned, 27 in Salt for having a meal at a fast food restaurant and 53 in Amman, and many many more. Couple of weeks ago I was poisoned after I ate at a restaurant in Jabal Amman called Iskander Kabab, I usually go there because its near my office but the last time I got there I got sick for couple of days because of eating there.

The question is do we really have a Ministry of Health in Jordan?

KFC made sick many times as well, I guess most of resturants are not hygienic.
