According to a report by The Department of Statistics 84.1% of employees and workers in Jordan are Jordanians, the report also shows that the number of foreigners working in Jordan is only 178,635.

To be quit honest I doubt this number, I believe that we have maids more than this number, wherever you go you see them Sri Lankan, Indonesian and other nationalities, my work is in Jabal Amman near the 2nd circle and I feel like I’m in south Asia. But what makes wonder is that Jordanian are always complaining about life expenses and yet they hire maids; I guess its part of their fake life style and to show-off.

In addition to maids we have hundreds of thousands of workers in different places; most of them are in the industrial cities: Egyptians, Chinese, Indians and much more. Again I don’t believe that number.

Finally we reach to employees in companies & establishments; I don’t know why Jordanian companies and employers are obsessed with foreigners; he is from outside the country then he is so good, so talented, I will give him high salary, house allowance and of course 2 airline tickets every year, just because he is not Jordanian, I met and worked with many foreigners and I found most of them so stupid. We have many talents her in Jordan, but again since he is Jordanian then he is not good, I will not give him a good salary he is local, so ridiculous.
