Believe me it can’t be solved through democracy

From Palestine to Lebanon and Iraq, and the rest of the Middle East, do we still believe that democracy and negotiations is our way for salvation, what a stupid thinking!

Reviewing the situation is this ragging territory of the world I believe that there is no place for rationality and diplomacy. One party should lead whether we liked or not.

You can’t have both Fateh and Hamas in Palestine, there can’t be a government in Iraq that gathers Kurds, Sunni & Shiite all together, one color should lead (and it’s happening as we see what is happening to Sunnis in Iraq) and at the end you can’t have real harmony in Lebanon between all parties, no chance in hell.

Look at Iraq for example; what is the progress that USA brought to Iraq over those years? Insecurity, death, civil war and hundreds of thousands of souls went to the sky. And you are accusing Saddam Hussein for performing crimes against humanity for killing 180 people.

Lebanon is expected to witness another civil war, look at it, all factors are there; Israel is at the door, Syria is pissed-off and is trying to screw Lebanon, Iran with its hidden hands, struggles with the Palestinians and a verbal war between different parties.

The Human Rights Watch organization reported how civil Palestinians are being tortured and humiliated on the hands of the Lebanese army (it’s not me talking it’s the same organization that accused Israel for crimes against Palestinians so I do believe them).

This Fateh El-Islam thing seems to be fabricated; I mean all of the sudden a strong rebel party appeared from no where in Lebanon and the army can’t control the situation, how did they develop a really strong well-armed military from nowhere?

And you are telling me that Saddam Hussein was dictator, the entire Middle East needs a “dictator” that can at least shut this chaos down, believe me we really need one.

New buildings-numbering system in Amman

I noticed large bilingual numbers on few buildings and houses in Amman, is it going to replace the old numbering system?

We really need a proper numbering system for buildings in Jordan; the current system consists of a small plate that contains the number in both Arabic and English. Few of us are using it; personally I used it only for food delivery as they ask for it.

Currently buildings are not ordered probably; for example the building number 5 could come in-between of building number 19 and 11. I guess even if we had really big numbers still they are not ordered and you will find yourself wandering around to find an address.

Your female-work-colleague should breast feed you!!! loooooool

The most stupid and weirdest Fatwa I’ve ever heard ever, women at work should breast-feed their male colleagues to eliminate the foreigner-man barrier, and so their existing together at work won’t be prohibited.

I saw a funny comment their asking if the woman didn’t have milk, what is the situation then, shall she use pills that encourages milk or shall we just suck her boobs?

What the fuck is this! I mean enough with destroying Islam’s image. Read on AlArabiya.

For those who defend Shiite blind-loyalty to Iran

Whenever I open this topic on my blog or with anyone people start defending Shiite; they are Muslims just like us, they are Arabs and not loyal to Persian but reading more and more in the news makes me more convinced with my believes.

AlJazeera hosts an Iraqi politician who happened to criticize an IRAQI Shiite person, in response to that, Iran banns AlJazeera from the Iranian parliament sessions. Ha! The guy criticized an Iraqi fellow, what does that have to do with Iran?

Not only that, during the visit of the Iranian president to UAE, an official from the Iranian embassy asked AlJazeera to leave a press conference for the Iranian president. What a rude action from the Persian or what a stupidity of the Emirates, Iran doesn’t have the right to do that, they are not on their land.

Iran as well closed AlJazeera office for 14 months for a similar criticism for an Iraqi Shiite religion man by an Iraqi fellow. This clearly shows how Iran controls Shiites all over Arabia and how they do blindly follow it.

Ask Arab Shiites about the Arabian Gulf, they will tell you no it’s the Persian Gulf.

Crazy shopping, like you never believe

So I garbed 4,700 JD’s from the company and went in a shopping mission for a contest we are running, its nice when you have such money and you know that you are just gonna blow it away :D I remembered last summer when I went for such an issue, at that time I checked the rates of stuff I want to buy couple of days before, so there was no need for examining prices at purchasing time.

So I entered PC Zone at Mecca Mall and here what happened:
Samer: Can you pleas give an HP laptop (I was pointing at a punch of laptops).
At this point I noticed a couple of exclamation points and question marks popped above his head.
Salesman (to himself): Ha! This guy just asked for a 1,100 JD’s laptop without even looking at it, it’s not like a pack of cigarette for god’s sake, I thought we are in Jordan.
So he brought and he didn’t look convinced.
Samer: Is the warranty regional or just in Jordan?
Salesman: Its regional, may I ask what the region is?
Samer: Bahrain (The winner was Bahraini).
Salesman: So you work in Bahrain. (He looked like he finally solved this dilemma).
Samer: No in Jordan, but I’m having this competition and the laptop winner is a Bahraini.
This fact doubled the number of exclamation points and question marks above his head. I swear his eyebrows became one :)

I continued and went into inTouch at Mecca Mall and I asked for an iMate Jam, same reaction: Its morning and someone just ordered an iMate Jam like it was a pack of gum! (It was like 445 JD’s or less).

From the reactions of people in those places, I sensed that they are not ready for large sales at one time; they are used to go through lots of questions and negotiations with customers just to sell one item.

So yesterday I went to Prime Mega store and I had to wait for an hour to get the rest of the Digital cameras (all I ordered was 5 and they didn’t have that number at that time). So meanwhile I went down to Nokia and I bought 10 sets, I felt like an old VIP customer there. After that I went back to Prime grabbed the cams and 15 PC games.

All the way to Gardens street to PC Zone to purchase PC software, I wasted a lot of time in that stupid place; I bought couple of Islamic and educational software, in addition to Norton Anti-Virus and the crappy Microsoft Office.

Then I met Ibrahim at iSystems in Swifieh, there I bought 12 iPod shuffles, and headed back to the office to store 5 Digital cams, 10 mobiles, 20 PC software, 15 PC games and 12 iPods – and none of them is mine :(
