Al Arabiya | Know More

I’m not a fan of Al Arabiya nor Al Jazeera, and of course I don’t like Al Hurra too, but this is an interesting campaign for Al Arabiya created by Grey Worldwide Dubai. It’s really interesting, the first visual featured a geography class in Gaza, the message was “Only their country isn’t on the map”, that was the best one.

Others are interesting too, the wedding picture one works perfectly with the message “In good times, and bad”, the “Kill all Arab!” one came along with “no matter how tough their slogans are”. Take a look at Lucifer “Bush”, he is asking the little girl whether she is with or against them, is he really expecting an answer!

  3. “Know More” a vigorous campaign for Al Arabiya launched last year, but deserves to be revisited. The creative agency behind it is Grey Worldwide Dubai. The campaign aims to communicate Al Arabiya’s promise of reliable and credible news, despite the surrounding conditions. Each visual features an image of conflict areas in the Middle East, such as Palestine and Lebanon, while the copy presents messages related to these visuals like “In good times, and bad” and “Are you with us, or against us”. Interesting camping indeed!

How would you feel about a photo of the World Trade Center falling down that had a caption that said “Islam is a religion of peace”?

Anyone can play this game. Anyone at all. Most people don’t, because it’s nasty.
