Spotlight does an entire episode demanding the return of a character in Bab Al-7ara

Personally I don’t watch Bab Al-7ara but I found it really funny to see a TV show discussing another one. Spotlight is a lovely Syrian comedy show that did an entire episode demanding the return of a character in another TV series, Bab Al-7ara

Bab Al-7ara is a Syrian TV series that gained an overwhelming viewership in the Arab world, and it’s being aired on MBC1 in its third season. Abu Essam is a character in Bab Al-7ara who didn’t participate in this year’s edition, which inspired the guys at Spotlight to do an episode where people demand the return of that character to the show.

The angry people go to the author demanding him to return the character, he claims that he has been forced by the director to eliminate the character, then they go to the director who blames it on the producer due to some financial issues with the guy who plays the character. They wind up in a strike, hoping that the character will be back :)
