Apple briefs pitching advertising agencies through an iPod!

Apple Middle East, represented by Arabian Business Machine, has invited 5 new advertising agencies to pitch for Apple’s ATL, BTL and media accounts. The pitching agencies are Tonic, Memac Ogilvy, Lowe MENA, Euro RSCG and BPG (Bates Pan Gulf), in addition to their current agency Intermarkets.

The cool thing is that agencies have been briefed through a video on an iPod Shuffle! Instead of papers and e-mails. The competing agencies should present their work by end of this month, wishing everyone good luck, but, personally, I can see Tonic winning the account, based on their advertising spirit, they are cool and smart, this is what Apple needs.

Here is an interesting campaign by Intermarkets Dubai.
