Tonic Dubai a Copycat!

When I saw this employment ad by Tonic Communications in Dubai I said wow, a really creative idea. The visual was Apple’s logo but the apple itself was eaten from both sides unlike Apple’s original logo, the ad targets designers who of course use Mac for their work. The message was simple as well: “Hungry designers wanted / email info@tonicdubai.com”.

The ad is really amazing but them when I was reading the comments on Ads of the world, I noticed that someone mentioned that this idea was used by IBM! Tonic Dubai is an international award winning agency, and I like their work especially on Nando’s Ramadan TV Commercial and Sony Wega, but I didn’t expect them to be copycats! But again their employment ad is creative despite everything.
