Another knee-jerk reaction with ‘blame the Jews’. Please get your facts straight. From Wikipedia:
“On August 21, 1969 there was a fire at Al-Aqsa that gutted the southeastern wing of the mosque, which was known as Haram ash-Sharif. Among other things the fire destroyed was a one-thousand-year-old wood and ivory pulpit (minbar) that had been sent from Aleppo by Saladin[10].
At first the Arabs blamed Israel for the fire. Arabs marched through the streets, chanting “Death to Israel!” Some Israelis blamed Fatah for the fire, and said they had caught the mosque on fire so they could blame Israel for it, and arouse hatred against Israel[11]. However, neither Fatah or Israel started the fire. The arsonist was a tourist from Australia named Michael Dennis Rohan. Rohan was a member of an evangelical Christian sect known as the Worldwide Church of God[12]. He hoped that by burning down the Al-Aqsa Mosque he would hasten the Second Coming of Jesus[citation needed]. Rohan told the court that he acted as “the Lord’s emissary” on divine instructions, in accordance with the Book of Zechariah, and that he had tried to destroy the al-Aqsa Mosque in order to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount[citation needed]. He was hospitalized in a mental institution, found to be insane and was later deported from Israel[13].”

Arnie, wikipedia is full of bullshit, when it comes to the Israeli-Arab conflicts, facts are being altered for the good of Israel, wikipedia is being controlled by 100 Zionist.
Dude, we live in the Middle East so don’t try to bullshit us with this nonsense, not only we know the truth, we live it everyday, try to fool people in USA and Europe with this crap.
Personally I don’t have a problem with Jews, my problem is with the Zionist, whether they were Jews, Muslims, Christians or anything else.

Yes, yes… You know the truth… Those perfidious Zionists… Sorry Samer, but I watched this story unfold in 1969. I don’t need you or Wikipedia to tell me what happened.

It’s an incident among so many, and even if Israel had nothing to do with, Israel did much much horrible than this

A question was raised is: after the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, the Israeli authorities applied a highly restricted policy on Al-Haram Al-Qudsi visitors.
how could he bring all those flammable chemicals inside? noticing that he was not since long in Palestine. also, the Israeli authorities did not allow fire-fighters entrance, all water sources was banned of usage.
do not isolate this crime of the historical conflict aspects. before this crime and after, many Israelis and Zionists commented hundreds of crimes which were as same or worse. the salutary of 20 person inside the Haram, Sharron’s visit, several attempts of “new-temple” foundation stone placing.
and btw, being alive in a certain time actually does not make you any accurate or closer to truth. actually, it takes you away from the truth. you heard the Zionist version of the story. you dont want to hear the truth? don’t argue about it then

And Arnie let me ask you this, why are so aggressive about defending Israel that much while you are an American and live in New York? You are more than welcomed to say your opinion but Israel is not your country.

I remember the day very well as I happened to be with HM King Hussein in Aqaba when the call came through that the Al Aqsa was on fire. It was a terrible moment. I will blame Israel for a lot (after all they killed my husband) but it was an Australian Christian who actually did the deed.
