The concert of Coca-Cola’s Brand Ambassador Tamer Husni turns into a complete chaos
Celebrities are known for their ego, the more popular they are, the more annoying they become, it’s not easy to deal with them but their popularity drives you to accept them the way they are, especially if you are targeting their fans.
Hiring Brand Ambassadors is a global trend, I think the most notable brand in this field is PEPSI, as they’ve introduced several TVCs that were customized through replacing one star with another; Enrique Iglesias & Amr Diab, Christina Aguilera & Elissa, Claudia Schiffer & Haifa Wahbi, the idea is to make it more appealing to the Arabic audience, a more local feeling.
Coca-Cola is another example, but they were more selective than PEPSI, they hired the popular diva Nancy Ajram and young star Tamer Husni as brand ambassadors, and I have to say they were smarter than PEPSI in their choices.
Now these ambassadors do represent the brand, it doesn’t really matter if you are a big shot, if you represent my brand you should control your ego, especially with one of world’s most recognized brands like Coca-Cola.
Al-Ghad newspaper reported about the chaos that almost ruined Tamer Husni’s concert in Amman, the event was poorly organized according to the report, as a start the venue fits for only 1,500 people, which was less than the number of fans who couldn’t enter.
The chaos developed into fights between people on seats locations, which led to a brutal interference from the security, according to the newspaper.
The concert was delayed for more than 2 hours, which I guess is longer than the duration of the concert itself, many people were pissed-off because of this delay and left.
Now if the singer is not really concerned about his fans, he should of remembered that he was representing Coca-Cola that night, I don’t think that the organizers were the reason for this delay, most probably they’ve paid extra money for renting the venue for an extra time.
Hiring a brand ambassador is a sensitive issue, it should be well studies, carefully implemented and closely monitored, as it might hurt the brand more than benefiting it!

yes, that’s right.
One of the organizers is friend of mine and he told me that Tamer wanted to get more people and sell more tickets.
I don’t like this idiot , neither his music. And as it seems he is greedy bastard.
