Watch out for Copycats in Jordan, now we know the inspiration behind Cozmo’s creative work
On the right, a campaign for Cozmo that is running currently in Jordan, apparently it was precisely inspired by another campaign (on the left) that was created by Lowe Brindfors in Sweden more than 2 years ago, copycats copycats!

The do look similar, however, the one on the right clearly shows a brain, while the one on the left doesn’t show a brain, just a big cauliflowr!
Maybe it wasn’t really copying, maybe it’s a coincidence? One thing is certain, they have improved on the original and that alone is worth something.

I agree with Qwaider on this one.

Qwaider, you are design blind.
it is a copy. way to go Peter!

Moey, although I would say that you have a some good stuff coming out of you. You are in no way up to the task of gauging other people’s design aptitude.
In addition to that, no body solicited your opinion so you can as well keep it to your self.
To top it all up, design on liking what you see is very subjective! Like what you like, and let me the hell alone to like what ever the hell it is that I like!

According to designs coming out of you Qwaider, I can judge and I know truth hurts but you are design blind, and it is alright. god created people different, some people are tone def, they can’t sing for shit… khalas god created them heik.
in the advertising world, this is a replica.
show it to any creative director, art director, designer… hell! even a media manager!

Plus the one in the left is meant to look like a brain as well, so even if the execution is poor-er than the one on the right, the other 2 options approve it.
you have an onion heart-shaped, lungs.. and thats possibly a… BRAIN!

No Moey, you can’t judge mainly because this is a very subjective matter. You might think that you’re god’s gift to the world when in fact some people might puke looking at what you call designs.
Nevertheless, my inability to graphically design(and I admit that) doesn’t mean that I have no sense of appreciation. Your childish and extremely rude remarks can be returned and applied to your character and your poor judgement.
Don’t reply to me, when I talk to you answer me. When I don’t direct my words to you. Keep your mouth shut and your rudeness to yourself

Qwaider, you’re in denial, the concept is exactly the same, the body text tells you the exact same thing, and sorry to say, the copy ad is done incorrectly since the cauliflower was split in half and mirrored making it look more like an ass than a brain. The campaign from LOWE has much stronger / realistic visuals. STRAIGHT FORWARD COPY.

Another thing since this is making me laugh, the LOWE ad was listed in Lurzers ADVERTISING Archive a globally distributed periodical that creative directors review for inspiration, so judging it raises a question mark since the ads were internationally recognized for their creativity….WHOOPSIE!

“Denial”!? Where do you guys learn to talk to people!?
I have no beef whatsoever with any side of this. I was just pointing out that they DO look similar BUT they also have differences, the one on the right looks more like a cerebrum than the one on the left which looks like a regular weird looking cauliflower
Anyway, these are not the first or the last to copy others. (If they really copied it)

people do not puke from my designs!

And every person on the face of this planet has seen your designs?
I ADMIT I’m not a designer, and I did say you do have good work. Maybe I’m design blind and you actually don’t have anything good
Either way, You are in no way shape or form appointed to decide if people know what pretty is or not. One thing is certain, you are as ugly on the inside as you are on the outside, even a “blind” person can tell you that.
At least I know how an onion looks like mr Designer

Qwaider, I do not cook food nor intend to so of course, I wouldn’t know if its an onion or not.
I’m to decide if it is pretty or not, I took awards for my designs and I do not release fucked up stolen idea stuff, Look at all of my stuff, If you find anything stolen or copied, you have the right to tell me anything.

Truth bites, eh?
Well, designs are not created for the designer and his clan. They’re created for the world to enjoy. In that sense, the “prettiest” isn’t necessarily the most meaningful or effective.
You can decide for your own taste, you can’t dictate what “taste” is. It’s subjective.
Anyway, I will give it to you, I appreciate your designs and I think they’re very nice. I guess, I still have some taste after all

In the U.S., the color scheme, subject matter, message, context, layout, and food item chosen for the Cozmo ad is intellectual theft and copyright infringement.
I don’t think this, I know this - the standards might be off here, but I do know of the patenting and copyrighting process from personal experience and the simplest similarities would qualify something like this as a fined offense or crime.
It is companies like this that bring my country 10 years back in the eyes of the world. Absolutely shameful. Have we no creativity or sense of self-esteem at all? Do we know so surely how incapable we are to the point where we really need to mooch off of the ideas of others?
I loathe this - if I was living in Jordan I would never shop at Cozmo, strictly for this.

I guess you were trying to offend me somehow, which doesn’t matter because you don’t seem to know how to write a coherent sentence.
