New Street Signage in Amman

This is a new street signage in Amman I think it’s the second phase of a project that the Municipality is integrating into the streets of Amman to make addresses easier to get, I blogged about the first phase couple of months ago, you can check it here.

The new signage system contains names of streets in addition to numbers  of blocks/houses that were installed in the first phase, those numbers on buildings, in my opinion, are ugly, I hate the blue color, and it’s too large, but I noticed that they started to install smaller numbers with curved corners, I guess a little bit better but still I don’t like the color, unlike the new street signage, I like the green and to think about it, it’s the municipality’s color.

  3. we’ve had one near my house in al weibdeh since october or november last year. I wondered why no one else talked about them only to find out they were no where to be found in Amman. Weird.
