Kylie Minogue will be paid $3.5 mn for a 60-minute gig at the opening of the Atlantis in Dubai

The Atlantis Resort in Dubai is all lined-up for a grand opening on November 20th, and the budget is as high as $28 million. Two weeks ago, the Atlantis has witnessed a fire that damaged the lobby roof, but it will open its door officially on the 24th of September.

Kylie Minogue has confirmed that she will perform at the grand opening, she can’t refuse 3.5 million dollars for an hour of singing and dancing! The guestlist will include politicians, actors, musicians and royalty, and they are expected to be flown in from around the world and will be given free accommodation at the resort, which will cost around $8,700 per person – $17.5 million!

The total cost of the project is $1.5 billion
The price for one at a penthouse suite costs up to $15,000 a night
